Learn to Skate—Hockey 1 is for beginner skaters who will be learning how to skate in hockey skates. Coaches will focus on skating skills such as falling down/standing up, forward skating, stops, backward skating, and more. No sticks and pucks. Full gear is not required, but can be worn (helmet recommended).
Skaters must pass this program before registering for Learn to Play. If you believe your skater is passed this level, please contact Katie Hannemann at email@example.com to set up an evaluation.

Learn to Play – Hockey 2 & 3
Learn to Play – Hockey 2 & 3 is for skaters who have been evaluated by an instructor and/or passed Hockey 1 in Learn to Skate. Coaches will focus on improving many of the skills learned in learn to skate; faster forward skating, hockey stops, faster backward skating. Skaters will also learn many new things such as crossovers, turns, and introduction to stick and puck. Our Learn to Play program requires full gear.
